Sweet Prophecy

Welcome to Sweet Prophecy, your local bakery specializing in freshly baked confections that are traditional to Central and Eastern Europe! We bake our products in small batches to ensure you get the best flavors and textures.

Our creations will take you on a culinary journey to our home in the Wallachia region of the eastern Czech Republic. This region is known for its smoked sausages, slivovitz (plum brandy), and frgál cakes (a round cake with yeast-based dough and various toppings). It’s a unique area tucked into the Carpathian Mountains where people still speak a traditional dialect.

Our main baker, Janek Palat, ensures that our baked goods are breathtaking and delicious. His wife, Katya, helps to prepare smaller items, and his father-in-law, Viktor, specializes in apple pastries and strudels.
