Shirt Factory 2024 Events Application

This is the Master Application for Events Organized and Hosted by The Shirt Factory: Events organized by others will have a different application; contact the event organizer(s) for those applications.
For vendors serving food or drink of any type, you will need to supply insurance certificate as well as appropriate certificates from NYS Agriculture and Markets, NYS Department of Health and/or NYS Liquor Authority, these certificates should be on display while you are vending.
Any vendor making sales is required to have a New York State permenant or temporary certificate of authority on display during the event. If you do not have a certificate of authority at the start of the event, you will not be able to set up at the event. If you need to apply for a certificate of authority, please visit The State's Department of Taxation and Finance website.

Offering items not listed here without advance notice to, and written permission from, the show organizer may require the items be removed during the event and/or forefeet the right to participate in future shows. Please note this description will also be used to create a default listing for your booth/business on our event site.
To encourage shopping, we try to keep vendors grouped by similar price ranges.

Below are sections for each of our events for the year, including dates, booth sizes, and prices. To prevent erroneous entries, sections are removed as the event dates approach.

Please select the events and dates you are interested in participating in. Please select the appropriate booth size/classification. If you select the wrong classification, we will correct it before invoicing you for the space.

Under each event title is a comment section for additional info specific to that event, ie, specials, location requests, etc.

April 2024

Spring is Sweet - Maple in April

This event takes place Saturday April 20th from 11am to 5pm and can be inside or outside spaces at the Shirt Factory.  Typically we have vendors offering maple products and maple sweetened foods (although this is not necessary, at least one use of maple in prepared foods is encouraged) and spring time themed items. Setup will take place from 8 am the day of the event. Send pictures and descriptions of what you will offer for promotional purposes, we want to get people excited about what you have to sell.

Indoor spaces typically measure 30 inches deep x 8 feet long.

Outdoor spaces typically measure 10 feet deep x 10, 20, or 30 feet in length

For outside vendors, quiet Inverter style generators are welcome, Old fashioned loud style generators are NOT WELCOME as they take away from the visitor experience

For those of you with trailers it is expected that you will drop your trailer, if you have to leave your truck hooked up, advance notice - at least one week before the event - is required to plan the layout. Additionally, you need to provide the overall length of your truck and trailer, which side your serving window is on, and any additional requirements for your set-up.

May-September * Thursday Market & Food Truck Corral

This event takes place weekly Thursdays May 16th through September 12th from 4:30 pm to 8 pm each week NO EVENT ON JULY 4th.

Each week, setup will occur from 1 pm the event day. If you need to set up before 1pm, please get in touch as far in advance as possible.

Send pictures and descriptions of what you will offer for promotional purposes; we want to get people excited about what you have to sell.

For those of you with trailers it is expected that you will drop your trailer, if you have to leave your truck hooked up, I need to know in advance to plan the layout and need the overall length of your truck and trailer.

Non profit spaces are for bonafide non-profit organizations (501C-3), if you are a for-profit company only offering information, you will still need to pay a booth fee. In exchange for getting a free space, we would ask that non-profits offer some free kids' activities.

Small farmers offering items grown on the farm with five or fewer employees may also apply for a free space.

We will try to place returning vendors in the same/similar space as in prior years. Once your space is established we will try to keep you in the same space thoughout the season provided you sign up for consectutive dates. If you only attend the market sporadically, you may wind up in a new space each week you attend, as space allows.

May-October 2024

May-October * Second Saturday Flea Market at The Shirt Factory

Outdoor flea market happens on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9am to 4pm. Setup starts at 7am each day. Payment is required in advance to reserve space. We seek vendors offering antique, vintage, collectibles and hand crafted items. We typically will not accept vendors offering MLM or new items.

Booth spaces are  $25 for each 10-foot x10 foot space. This is the smallest space available.

Restricted items include, but is not limited to: firearms, live ammunition, Nazi-branded items, Confederacy-branded items, flammable items, explosive items, live animals, pornography, offensive materials, counterfeit items, knockoff items, controlled substances, wildlife items, ivory, any item at the discretion of the market manager that is offensive, in poor taste or poses a danger to public safety.

If you offer any food items, please ensure you have indicated that above and will have the correct license before the event.

October 2024

Apple vs. Pumpkin / Adirondack BBQ Competition

This event on October 12th, 11am to 5pm offers a combination of a fall festival with free and low cost activities for kids as well as a BBQ competition.

Set Up will be from 8am-11am on Saturday, October 12th.

For the BBQ competition, you can offer as many different kinds of BBQ as you would like, but for judging, we ask that you offer a 2oz pulled pork sample for $2. People's Choice judging will take place from 11am to 2pm on line. You will also be asked to supply 4 samples for our guest judges to rate. BBQ vendors are allowed to setup the day before if you plan to smoke on site overnight.

November-December 2024

November - December * Holiday Open Houses

These two weekends are our signature holiday event and takes place 10 am to 5 pm each day Friday, November 29,30th thru Sunday December 1st, and again Saturday December 14th and Sunday December 15th.

Each weekend is a separate event, if you sign up for a weekend, you are required to be present and open for business during the event hours for each day that weekend. For each weekend, vendor set up begins at 7:30 am on the first day of the event.

Absolutely no one is allowed to set up before 7:30 am on Friday December 29 or Saturday December 15.

Vendor taken down cannot begin before 5 pm on the last day of the event, Sunday December 1 and Sunday December 15.

Each event has guest vendors on every floor of the Shirt Factory, generally vendors will be in the halls. Items should be hand crafted by the vendor. 

You can sign up for the first open house dates and/or second open house dates.  If you sign up for dates you are committed to attend each day in that open house, we cannot accommodate partial commitments.

This is a market for artists and artisans, no MLM vendors or vendors selling non-hand crafted items will be accepted.

"Booth" Spaces will be approximately 8 feet wide x 30 inches deep, set up flush, against the wall, with an additional two feet for the vendor to sit or stand. 

You can choose the floors you are willing to locate on, and which open houses you would like to attend. Booth spaces are limited (especially first floor space) and space will be awarded on a juried basis. If you are awarded a space, and you accept the space and location assignment, payment to reserve the space will be expected. If payment is not received within 2 weeks of notice of award, the space will be considered available and offered to another vendor.

Event Pricing is as follows:

  • Frist Floor
    $150 for November Open House
    $100 for December Open House
  • Second Floor
    $90 for November Open House
    $60 for December Open House
  • Garden Level
    $75 for November Open House
    $50 for December Open House.
  • Third Floor
    $60 for November Open House
    $40 for December Open House

If you need a table, chair, or outlet, we have a limited number available for a nominal charge of $10 for each.

December 2024

December - Holiday Pop Ups, Friends & Family, Last Minute Dash

Our pop up Holiday markets (Friends & Family on December 7th, and Last Minute Dash on December 21st) 11am to 5pm, generally vendors will be in the halls. Items should be hand crafted by the vendor.  You can sign up for either or both dates. This is a market for artists and artisans, no MLM vendors or vendors selling non-hand crafted items will be accepted.

"Booth" Spaces will be approximately 8 feet wide x 30 inches deep, set up flush, againt the wall, with an additional two feet for the vendor to sit or stand. Guest vendor spaces are first floor only, at $50 each. Upon acceptance, payment is required in advance to reserve space.

If you need a table, chair, or outlet, we have a limited number available for a nominal charge of $10 for each.
