I can replace broken zippers. Often these can be dropped off and I will discuss when it will be ready then. Sometimes there may be a delay if I cannot locate the right style and color zipper for your garment.
All clothing must be clean before it will be accepted.
All clothing should be ironed and free of wrinkles. If a garment is wrinkled, I can steam it before working on it, for an extra charge.
If you need alteration, please call and make an appointment so I can make sure I will be able to give you my undivided attention.
When making alterations to prom and wedding dresses, please bring the undergarments and shoes you will wear the day of to make sure things get altered correctly, allowing you to confidently shine on the big day!
While I am able to accommodate some alteration requests as walk-ins, I prefer that you call and schedule it in advance. If you do not make an appointment and I have customers shopping or am helping someone who made an appointment, you may have to come back another time.
Absolutely! The price will vary depending on the design of the dress, some are more complicated to work with than others, and whether someone else already tried to work on it, requiring more work.
If bringing in a prom or wedding dress please bring the undergarments and shoes you will wear the day of . Changing bras or shoes can change the way the dress fits/falls, to make sure it looks and fits the same in the fitting room as it does on your big day is to wear the same items when planning the alterations.
I have a private fitting room in my studio. Generally I try to schedule fitting appointments so I will be able to close the studio door so the only people there when you're changing are myself and anyone who came with you.
