Holiday Open House
An annual favorite at the building, visitors will find open studios on all four floors, as well as guest vendors in the halls. This event is held every year 10am-5pm on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving and again two weeks later in December on Saturday and Sunday. Come discover a treasure trove of locally made items.
2020 Coronavirus Update
Like many of you we are planning our holiday shopping a little differently this year, looking to avoid crowds and scale back our plans. With that in mind, here are a couple of big changes to Open House this year.
Outside vendors are a favorite part of this event! This year though, you will not find them lining the halls, but they’re still here. With everything going on, some vendors have chosen not to participate this year, to help vendors, and customers who are coming healthy and safe, except for a couple of areas where there is a lot of space in the hall, vendors will be inside studios this year. This will prevent traffic jams in the halls, and help make sure everyone has a happy holiday.
Entering and Exiting
To keep the building from getting too crowded, please reserve a time slot to come shop.
When you get here, you will enter at 21 Cooper Street, all other entrance will be locked. This only prevents you from entering, in the case of an emergency, you can still exit from any door. If you exit at the Loading Dock on Curran Lane, you will have an opportunity to enter the Shoppers Advantage
If you or someone in your party needs to use the handicap ramp to enter, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance and we will arrange to have someone meet your party at that entrance.
We like to think of this as a holiday bonus. When you are done shopping, stop by the table at the loading dock, we’ll add up your receipts for the day. For every $25 you spend at the building, you get a raffle ticket for a bag full of items from the building. That’s it, you don’t have to buy anything or sign up for anything. At the end of each day, we draw a winner for that day’s basket.
In the past, each baskets has been worth at least $300 retail. It could be a nice little bonus during the holidays, maybe treat yourself and check a few names off your list..
