Bittersweet Goodbyes and New Beginnings

Change can be sad, sometimes a little scary, but it can be exciting too!

Recently long time tenant, Laura Neadle left the building. While it was undeniably time for her to move on to new adventures, we found it hard to imagine her studio without her in it, let alone the building without her a part of the community here. As always happen though, we soon found someone else who loved Laura’s space and couldn’t wait to make it her own.  While we may still refer to this as Laura Neadle’s space from time to time, we’re excited to say that studio 202 has a new owner who has made this space all her own!

I know, I know, another photographer?! There are a few here already but A Sense of Wonder Studio really stands out from the crowd! Jessica won’t be the one to capture your family’s special moments, she strives to create pieces that everyone can connect with. In her own words:

Inspired by details, texture, and aged objects, I constantly strive to reveal the shared emotions in the simple splendors that fill the world around me.

Jessica goes beyond just using her images to make prints to hang in your home!

Stop by the studio to see her full collections of bags, note cards, fabric coasters, necklaces, banners, and more, and find the images that speak to you! One of our personal favorites is the vintage thimble, somehow it manages to look delicate and feminine while still appearing strong and sturdy.

Speaking of sturdy, her tote bags might even survive life with all of our kids!

Whether you’re local or not, you can find out more about Jessica and her work her website, on Facebook, and her online store. If you love her work as much as we do, make sure you sign up for her mailing list too! She’ll let you know about festivals you can find her at, sales and seasonal items like her 2018 calendars and Christmas ornaments!
